We are excited to announce that Technical Writing World is now accepting sponsors. Since launching in May 2011, TWW has grown into a vibrant social community for technical communicators from around the world.

Here are some reasons you should consider becoming a sponsor:

• We are a high traffic website that targets technical communicators and related fields. TWW averages over 5,000 unique visitors and over 100,000 page views per month, excluding bots and crawlers.
  
  

• Every page at TWW is visible. Visitors will see your ad on every page, whether or not they are members or are signed in.
• Every page is crawled and indexed by all major search engines. In December of 2011, Google crawled over 21,000 pages at TWW.
• Membership at TWW has grown organically because we are tightly integrated with other social networks. Members can simultaneously post status updates to TWW, Facebook, and Twitter through a single click. We offer single sign-on through Facebook, Twitter, Google, and Yahoo. Almost all content at TWW can be shared with other social networks through a single click.
• We receive maximum exposure in search engines through our members. Each member at TWW has a unique profile page (sample). Searching for one of our members frequently returns TWW at or near the top of the results list.
• Our members can easily spread the word about TWW by sending invitations to their contacts in Yahoo Mail, Gmail, Hotmail, AOL Mail, Microsoft Outlook, and Apple Address Book. An average of 125 new members join per month.
• We have continuously added features, and will continue to do so (link).
• You can post your upcoming events for free, even if you are not a sponsor. If you are a sponsor, we will feature your events (which increases their visibility).

We will carefully manage advertising to provide a consistent experience for visitors. Your ad will never appear alongside a random pharmaceutical ad from an automated ad server.

Pricing

Each ad square costs $80 per month, or $800 per year. Your ad will display in the right column of every single page at TWW. The order of ads is randomized with every page refresh.

How

Tell us how many months you would like to run your ad. We will send you an invoice via email. You can use a credit card or Paypal account to pay.

When we send the invoice, we will ask you to:

1. Send us a JPG, GIF, or PNG file that is 160 x 160 pixels in size.
2. Provide a target URL for the ad.

Sponsor the Techcomm Superfeed

We also offer a special sponsorship opportunity with the Techcomm Superfeed. The cost is $160 per month or $1600 per year for a 728 x 90 pixel banner at the top of the Superfeed, and we will clearly indicate that you are the sponsor of the Superfeed.
